This system integrates Taiwanese teaching materials, the TAIDE Large Language Model (LLM), and generative AI (GAI) across three applications: a Taiwanese–English–Japanese AI learning companion, an online human–machine co-learning platform, and a physical conversational AI robot. It supports real-time interaction in Chinese, Taiwanese, English, and Japanese, scenario-based practice, and multimodal learning that generates AI images from multilingual speech.

Applications include intelligent education, multilingual tour-guiding and food-ordering robots, manufacturing workforce training, and digital preservation of local languages and cultures in Southeast Asia. Customized automatic speech recognition (ASR) models can also support long-term care and healthcare services, including multilingual voice-based education on chronic disease and medication use for older adults.
