Summary
We have developed an innovative acoustic vortex technology VorteSonic for treatment of VTE, with the first go-to-market product of a catheter-based acoustic vortex thrombolytic device. Acoustic vortex produces turbulent flow around the thrombus, resulting in effective thrombolysis by creating loose structure of thrombustherefore enhancing deep penetration of thrombolytic drugs into the thrombus. Advantages of the acoustic vortex technology is reduction of hemorrhagic riskimprovement of safetyprognosis. Feedback system can be integrated for intelligent therapy in the future.

Scientific Breakthrough
Acoustic vortex uses special acoustic waveforms to manipulate substances in a contactless manner. With the acoustic vortex technology, accurate drug delivery is possible by combining the technology with microbubbles. Furthermore, unmet clinical needs, such as treatment of VTE, can be solved by applying acoustic vortex on thrombolysis. The acoustic vortex technology has been shown with 35 increase of thrombolytic efficiencybetter safety profile compared with contemporary thrombolytic therapies on the market, demonstrating its breakthrough advantages in the scientific perspectives.
Industrial Applicability
VTE causes loss of liveshuge economic burden all over the world. Acoustic vortex technology provides a more robust thrombolytic solutioncan solve the efficiency-safety dilemma on the treatment of VTE that contemporary thrombolytic therapies cannot achieve. Besides, the highly-focused propertytissue-penetration property of the acoustic vortex technology allow applications of noninvasive thrombolysis, treatment of brain diseases, as well as treatment of neurovascular diseases, making such technology a new therapeutic standard for the next generation of thrombolytic therapy.
