Climate change is impacting life and the economy in Taiwan, with mounting risks from shrinking mountain snowpacks and coral bleaching to more frequent typhoons and extreme heat. The Climate Change Division of the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR) has developed the High-Resolution Climate Data and Adaptation Application Platform, integrating high-resolution climate data, localized case studies, translated scientific reports, an adaptation toolbox, and intelligent search. It provides cross-sector, science-based adaptation information to support governments, industries, and society in developing risk management and sustainability strategies.

The platform integrates high-resolution climate data, localized impact cases, translated scientific reports, and AI-powered intelligent search, transforming complex climate science into visual and interactive decision-support tools. Through the “Adaptation Toolbox,” it brings together cross-sector resources, enabling governments, industries, and society to quickly understand climate risks and bridge the gap from scientific research to practical action.

The platform leverages high-resolution climate data, localized case studies, and adaptation resources to support industries in assessing climate change risks, enhancing their resilience and competitiveness in the face of climate challenges.
