Technical Name The low-temperature microwave driver module for superconducting qubit
Project Operator Industrial Technology Research Institute
Project Host 許世玄
Summary
The first domestic cryogenic microwave control module connected to quantum bits."
Scientific Breakthrough
The low-temperature microwave driver module for superconducting qubit application include passive circuits and active circuits. The passive circuit includes a low-pass filter and a power divider; these two circuits are designed and manufactured using printed circuit boards, and use adapters as the interface for signal output and input. The active circuit adopts the semiconductor process, and the mixer is designed with the silicon process,.
Industrial Applicability
ITRI developed a cryogenic microwave control module integrating both passive and active circuits. Most materials, including cables, PCBs, and ICs, were sourced from domestic suppliers. Leveraging Taiwan’s strong semiconductor foundation, this project introduces quantum-related technologies into the local industry, fostering a competitive and self-sustaining quantum ecosystem."
