Technical Name Biological Carbon Fixation Technology in Night by Glowing Plant
Project Operator National Cheng Kung University
Project Host 蘇彥勳
Summary
This technology designs a light conversion material to carry out a new plant leaf vein absorption technology. When the green leaves of the plants are " variegated ", the variation of variegated refers to the change in the color of the stems, leaves, other parts of the plant. Through the leaf vein absorption technology, plants can still grow naturally, emit light, sequester carbon. Glowing plants increased carbon sequestration by 40.6 at night. Glowing plants can not only create a new experience of plants but also carbon capturecarbon. The leaf vein absorption technology can be widely used in natural plants that can effectively increase the progress of functional plant gardeningagriculture.
Scientific Breakthrough
The leaf vein absorption technology can be widely applied to natural plants, the light conversion material can make plants emit light, effectively enhancing the progress of functional plant horticultureagriculture. Through the absorption technology of leaf veins on the plant surface, special functions can be achieved without modificationimplantation of plant genes. Light-emitting plants can create a new experience for ornamental plants at night, can also perform carbon capturecarbon neutralization at the same time.
Industrial Applicability
Glowing plants can provide consumers with innovative experiencesplant art healing after lights out at night. Introducing agricultural technology to Taiwan crops, combining visual art performances, using technology to promote, not only can market the agricultural industry, but also create Taiwan international highlights. At the same time, in line with the international net zero carbon emission policy, carbon dioxide can be continuously solidified at night to achieve carbon neutrality.
