Summary
The goal of this product is to provide an efficient use of rice husk by reducing costs, and to become an environmental tape with natural rice husk aroma by 3D printing. The environmental tape has a strip body containing environmental protection compositions of polylactic acid and rice husk. After processing, the rice husk aroma powder can be fairly distributed through the strip. The powder owns natural rice husk aroma and is made of grinding dried rice husk residues after high temperature drying process. The environmental protection strips are processed by high melting temperature with 3D printing. The aroma can be spread in all rooms that emanated from strips.
Scientific Breakthrough
本研究使用回收PLA,並添加稻殼纖維,製成複合材料,再經本研究開放所做之各類型檢測及物性測試後並改質,尋找出最佳配方比例製成複合材。另外目前已與廠家合作,將此複合材以3D成像技術實際開發出高單價產品,如:裝飾品及模型品等產品。經本研究改良後,使用稻殼複合材的3D列印膠條材料,進行3D列印機實際列印時,不易造成塌陷、底部翹取、牽絲及卡料等現象。可發現添加農業廢棄物之稻殼3D列印膠條材料,與PLA比較約可降低30~50%成本。且此複合材在3D列印輸出產品時,可改善塑料在列印中的刺鼻味,比石化塑膠的刺鼻味更具有市場競爭優勢,並具有生物可分解之優勢,達成材料環保標的的目標。
Industrial Applicability
模型、客製化產品、生活用品,由Wholers 估計在2010年3D 列印市場規模約265.9佰萬美元,預估到2021 年可達到108億美元,其中2010 年至2012 的年複合成長率達7%,由此可證明3D列印之市場開發資源與商機極為豐富,年年成長率極為可觀,而3D成像的膠條材料開發是目前所需的趨勢。
