Summary
At present, the main communication interface in the vehicle is the Controller Area Network (CAN Bus), and the communication protocol includes the small passenger car using ISO-15031 (SAE-J1979), the heavy vehicle using SAE-J1939, and ISO-27145 defined by the latest Word-Wide Harmonized On-Board Diagnostics (WWH-OBD). In order to obtain driving information of different vehicle types, we have designed communication protocols that can automatically identify all current vehicles and integrate data from all communication protocols. The function of obtaining vehicle driving behavior information and integrated development can be easily developed and used.
Scientific Breakthrough
At present, there is no OBDII capture module in the world that can be used for both large and small cars at the same time, and the output data has not been merged into meaningful data (such as speed, speed, etc.). The present invention can not only capture OBDII information of large and small cars at the same time through plug and play, but also the vehicle information has been merged. The captured information is more intuitive and complete than the current products on the market. This technology has been patented in the US and Taiwan.
Industrial Applicability
Driving behavior analysis is often used in driving safety, energy-saving driving, and low-emission environmental protection. There is no interference for driver using a vehicle’s OBDII port to collect driving data. Such as the new application of driving behavior analysis, there are 500 million people using Usage Based Insurance (UBI) to reduce premiums.
