Summary
The emergency department of medical center always is hard to find an available bed when a disaster occurs. Each hospital emergency room is definitely the first reaction unit if the number of empty bed is not available in each emergency department. We can help the ambulance for sending the injured patients to the hospital. Emergency Healthcare Network Bed Forecasting System (EHNBF System)", which will consider the concept of dynamic processes, immediate response to rapidly patients in hospitals within the network affect the dynamic of available beds information, network information has been considered predictive of hospital beds in the concept of time, will be able to improve the accuracy of the information for bed, so that these patients have a chance to post the exact hospital available beds, also more efficient allocation of resources planning.
Scientific Breakthrough
The current Ministry of Health and Welfare requires major hospitals to log in the number of waiting beds every 20 minutes on the webpage (Open data). We will evolve the error Open Data into a second-order celestial worm into more valuable and correct information. New parameters of solution and reorganization → Interval and treatment time of patients to hospital, and then import the new parameters into the medical network system simulation model to generate the number of empty beds, distance to hospital and time to predict future time t.
Industrial Applicability
The goal of this research is to use simulation to create a cloud-based forecasting system called EHNABFS in a regional hospital network in Taiwan in order to provide near-contemporaneous information to Emergency Department personnel and to EMTs in an effort to efficiently predict the optimal hospital to which patients should be transported based on bed and resource availability.
