Summary
The present invention is related to the structure of solid state electrolyte in a fuel cell structure, and more particularly to a solid oxide fuel cell structure having air paths defined beside the anode and cathode and on two sides of the electrolyte. Each of the air paths has a distal end provided with a turn and a continuous curve to spread stress during manufacture and to prolong its lifespan.
Scientific Breakthrough
The invention is producing high reaction area honeycomb structure of the micro tube type SOFC by the present technology and advanced ceramics molded film process techniques. By develop new material of cathode, the power performance of SOFC can be enhenced. For the honeycomb structure SOFC, the thickness of cell can be decreased. Overall the design, the SOFC can inprove the performance with smaller volume.
Industrial Applicability
The technique and instrument requirement of gel casting molding is not high. For gel casting molding, it is more reliability and easy to operate. Consider the profit, it is positive help for manufacture.
