Summary
Infection by dengue virus (DENV) result in serious diseases ranging from acute self-limiting febrile illness to life-threatening dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) and dengue shock syndrome (DSS). In Taiwan, DENV infection is still a serious sanitary problem. To date our results, we demonstrated that the pyrazolylquinoline derivative compounds exhibited significantly inhibition effect at non-cytotoxicity doses on DENV replication. We used a DENV-infected ICR mouse model to show that pyrazolylquinoline derivative compounds, exerted anti-DENV effects in vivo.

Industrial Applicability
台灣位於亞熱帶地區,每年皆有許多的登革感染病例而在全球每年約有五千萬的人受登革病毒感染,約造成二萬人死亡,目前約二十五億人口有被感染的危險,目前沒有有效的治療藥物,如果將本研究之吡唑基喹啉衍生物加以研發,此類的產品在台灣以及國際市場上具有相當深度的開發價值。
