Summary
“High-frequency ultrasonic anesthesia needle transducer and guidance system” is a device to assist the insertion in the PVB/ICNB anesthesia. Compared with the current puncture process, it only needs to insert a “micro-ultrasonic transducer” into the puncture needle to perform intracorporeal ultrasonic guidance.
High-frequency ultrasonic needle enables a new approach and increases the safety and success rate.
Scientific Breakthrough
In the PVB / ICNB procedure, because the angle between the puncture needle and the extracorporeal ultrasonic transducer is large, the ultrasonic image of the needle tip is blurred, which makes it difficult to perform.
High-frequency ultrasonic anesthesia needle transducer monitors the anatomy from the needle tip, it enables a new approach and increases safety and success rate.
Industrial Applicability
We developed an "High-frequency ultrasonic anesthesia needle transducer and guidance system" , for assisting regional anesthesia positioning, apply to Epidural anesthesia(EA), paravertebral block(PVB), intercostal nerve block(ICNB), and other puncture applications.
