Summary
This research is aimed at the traditional high-power squirrel cage AC asynchronous motor, which increases the constant speed energy-saving optimization control system developed by the institute and achieves the effect of constant speed energy saving.The motor is proposed to automatically detect load changes to control the phase cutting angle for optimal torque matching. In addition, well-planned protection mechanisms and integrated monitoring systems for the era of big data are also planned.
Scientific Breakthrough
This technology has several advantages compared with inverter and high efficiency motors. the technology uses the Silicon Controlled Rectifier for phase control to provide a reasonable drop in voltage and current to provide the proper output power of the motor.Compared with the inverter, the speed does not change because the motor operating frequency is not changed.In addition, this technology is simple to install.
Industrial Applicability
Electric motors have become indispensable systems in many industries such as vacuum pumps, exhaust fans, etc. And the annual usage rate is extremely high, and the power consumption rate of the motor system accounts for 70% in the national power consumption system. Therefore, This technology adjusts the voltage according to the load change to reduce energy consumption. And use the monitoring system to improve motor management efficiency.
