Summary
Perovskite solar cell (PSC) is a new generation photovoltaic device with very high power conversion efficiency.PSC can keeps the high efficiency under very weak light or room lighting, PSC can provide sufficient electricity under room lightly to drive all lind of electronic devices. We will demonstrate several application modules to reveal the potential applications of this promising new PV technology.
Scientific Breakthrough
Perovskite has high absorption coefficient but high resistance, therefore the optical thickness of perovskite absorber in a  perovskite solar cell (PSC)  to reach high efficiency is around 500 nm (very thin).  By understanding the crystallization behavior of perovskite we are able to prepare high-quality, large-area perovskite thin for perovskite solar cell to achieve high efficiency.
Industrial Applicability
Perovskite solar cell (PSC) was also called light-driven cell because of its ability to produce electricity when there is a light present. It can be an electricity source to various sensor of Internet of Things  under weak room lighting or area with less sun light such as forests and parks.  The applications cannot be found in the existed PV technology.    PSC can be an inexpensive but very useful green-energy technology.
