Marine research relies on imported underwater gear, leading to repair delays and limited customization. To fix this, TORI built a light-work-class ROV with a 500-meter depth rating. Featuring high-res cameras, lighting, and a 7-axis electric robotic arm, it greatly boosts underwater precision and flexibility, breaking the dependence on foreign imports.

The key to this technology lies in overcoming the constraints of international commercial specifications to achieve complete localization, covering everything from the pressure-resistant structural design and multi-sensor integration to the power and propulsion systems.
