By combining weather radar, FORMOSAT-7 satellite observations, and government open data with data assimilation and radar reflectivity extrapolation, the system updates rainfall forecasts every 10 minutes and provides three-hour precipitation nowcasts. It also offers intelligent weather interpretation and interactive Q&A in Mandarin and Taiwanese, helping the public and businesses make timely decisions and improve resilience to extreme weather.
