Industrial Applicability |
Aligned with the 2025 World Masters Games (Taipei & New Taipei) baseball events, AI-based baseball data collection will be implemented across 12 games, with data provided to participating teams. The Hawk-Eye system will be deployed at Tienmu Baseball Stadium to validate the electronic strike zone, achieving an error margin of less than 1 cm, on par with Major League Baseball’s Hawk-Eye accuracy, and is expected to further improve to 5 mm in the future. This advancement will not only reduce strike zone disputes but also enhance overall game flow and efficiency. |
