Technical Description The characteristics of modular lightweight composite truss-type transportable bridge for disaster relief are:
(1) Modularization: the modular structure of single truss and double truss structure makes the bridge suitable for a span of 10-50 meters.
(2) Lightweight: the use of lightweight composite to reduce the weight of bridge and overcome the problem that bridges need heavy machinery to erect and assemble.
(3) Easy assembly: the use of bolts to join composite truss panels and use of pins to connect modular segments, the assembly method is simple, easy and save erection time.
(4) Re-usability: the use of bolts and pins to join composite truss panels and module segments, which is convenient for assembly and disassembly, it can be recycled and reused.
The technical specifications of the rescue bridge are:
(1) bridge span: 10-50 m,
(2) net width of bridge: 3 m,
(3) load capacity: 5 t live load,
(4) assembly time: within 8 hours (30 worker, 1 small crane and simple tools).
