Summary
This technology provides a rapid total solution for determining antibiotic susceptibility of pathogens and quantification of biomarkers of sepsis with a high-sensitivity optofluidic biosensing system. Compared with the current clinical method, this system reduced 44 hours and the coincidence rate is currently 90.6 % to satisfied the clinical requirements.

快速及精準檢測致病菌藥敏性及發炎因子的技術,為一交流電動力進行血液中純化濃縮致病菌及發炎因子並結合光電薄膜感測技術於10分鐘內直接於晶片上判定血液中致病菌種對於各類抗生素之藥敏性,以及結合微型化光柵波導感測器即時定量發炎因子濃度之兩用複合晶片平台,可大幅縮短檢測時間。
Industrial Applicability
The exhibiting technology is a label-free, rapid, high-sensitivity optofluidic biosensing system for rapid identification of pathogens and host-response in septic patients, which can easily achieve the automation of detection and judgment, and reduce the error of personnel operation and judgment. Patient information was provided quickly and accurately to the doctor to prescribe the right medicine.
