Active aging is an important issue in the future, we developed the machine attendant according the principle of people-oriented. The main feature of the device is automatic follow in the front of the user. In addition, it also has other functions like as carry even, assisting up/down hill and GPS to serve elderly people.

前方自動跟隨

近幾年開始有動力輔助操控及自動跟隨之產品來減輕高齡者外出時的負擔，我們認為對高齡者而言「前方跟隨」的操控方式有其優勢及必要性：其一，在「前方跟隨」的情況下，使用者可以更直接且容易地觀察到它們，不需要不斷回頭確認它們是否有跟隨上，使用者也能較方便監控和防失竊，提高使用者的安全感；再者，「前方跟隨」方式在偵測障礙物和預警提示比起「後方跟隨」更具優勢，可以讓高齡使用者提早得知障礙物，更有時間去迴避危險。如此提高使用者安全感並減少操作上的負擔，這才是符合以人為本的設計概念。
