The Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE) gathers R&D achievements from government ministries in three thematic pavilions: the Innovation Pilot, Future Tech Pavilion, and Sustainability Pavilion. In 2025, TIE will run from October 16–18 at Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1, serving as an international hub for innovation and IP.
The Future Tech Pavilion (FUTEX), organized by the NSTC, Academia Sinica, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Health and Welfare, centers on “AI Experiences × Breakthrough Innovations.” It features four interactive zones—Smart Robotics, AI Applications & Academia-Industry Collaboration, Quantum Technology, and Sports Technology—and integrates the Future Tech Awards, AI Innovation Award, and IC Taiwan Grand Challenge, showcasing nearly 200 R&D projects across seven fields: biotech & medical devices, advanced materials, green & net-zero technologies, AI applications, semiconductors & optoelectronics, and humanities & technology.
With cross-domain AI applications—from healthcare and precision manufacturing to robotics, drones, semiconductors, and smart cities. The Pavilion also hosts expert forums on robotics, quantum, and sports technology, with participation from startups across 14 countries, highlighting global cooperation and innovation. Through technology presentations, matchmaking, and in-depth guided tours, the Future Tech Pavilion bridges research and industry, inspiring imagination and leading trends in next-generation technologies.
