Technical Name Method and Kit for Quantitative Analysis of the Apolipoproteins in High Density Lipoprotein by Capillary Electrophoresis
Project Operator National Changhua University of Education
Project Host 劉敏瑛
Summary
HDL apolipoproteins are analyzed by the optimal CE conditions. The CE separation buffer includes 5 mM sodium phosphate, 40 mM bile salts, 25 mM carboxymethyl-β-CD (CM-β-CD), pH 7.0. The separation voltage is 15 kV, and the capillary temperature is 15℃. This CE new method is fast, simple and not expensive. It can simultaneously determine several apolipoproteins qualitatively and quantitatively.
Scientific Breakthrough
A new CE method has been developed to determine human HDL apolipoproteins. It shows good repeatability and sensitivity. Apos AI, AII, CI and CIII can be simultaneously identified and quantified in human HDL. Six apo standards can be quantitatively analyzed. This new method shows better qualitative and quantitative results than previously reported ELISA, HPLC and CE methods.
Industrial Applicability
This new method can be transferred to a hospital or analytical/diagnostic company. It can be used to analyze HDL apolipoproteins of patients. Apos AI, AII, CI and CIII can be simultaneously identified and quantified in human HDL. Six apo standards can be quantitatively analyzed. The method is highly sensitive and repeatable. It will help the prevention, diagnostics and treatment of diseases.
