「2023 台灣創新技術博覽會（TIE）-未來科技館」歷經三天盛大展出，國科會吳政忠主委今（14）日親自授獎予TIE Award 12隊獲獎團隊及未來科技獎80 隊技術團隊，期勉團隊持續研發並與市場接軌，為台灣科研創造最大價值。

由國科會與中央研究院、教育部、衛福部攜手打造，2023 台灣創新技術博覽會（TIE）-未來科技館，自今（12）日至 14 日三天在世貿一館盛大舉行。今年匯集台灣前瞻科研80隊未來科技獎獲獎團隊、12件TIE Award全球頂尖趨勢技術，及各部會代表科研成果近200件技術，並舉辦趨勢國際論壇，彰顯台灣科技對全球產業趨勢的關鍵影響力。

國家級科研盛會「2023 台灣創新技術博覽會-未來科技館」即將在10月12日世貿一館隆重登場，國科會在中研院、教育部及衛福部跨部會協力下，今年匯集國際獎項「科技創新卓越獎(TIE Award)」、「未來科技獎」共92隊海內外頂尖科研成果，打造「AIoT智慧應用」、「生技新藥與醫材」、「人文科技」4大技術領域、「半導體」、「太空科技」、「精準健康」3大主題展區，期望促進研發成果商機、強化全球科研人才來台交流，並推廣科普提升大眾對科技發展關注。

「2022台灣創新技術博覽會－未來科技館」 歷經3天盛大展出，今( 15 )日由國科會吳政忠主委親自頒獎予獲獎團隊，包含「TIE Award」 11隊及「未來科技獎」 81 隊，並見證其所展出具未來趨勢、符合產業需求的關鍵技術後，展覽圓滿落幕。 81件未來科技獎得獎技術超吸睛 科技創造全民幸福願景 國科會徵選「未來科技獎」，網羅我國科研國家代表隊及符合產業發展需求的關鍵技術，吸引全國學術單位近600件報名，經嚴選 81 件代表性技術參展。 今年獲獎領域以「永續綠能與先進材料」、「精準健康」及「AIoT智慧應用」為大宗，顯示國內科研成果與世界科研趨勢並進。例如在精準健康領域，獲獎技術針對癌症、猝死、失智等國人相當關心的議題，展現基因核酸、生物晶片、人工智慧判讀等技術應用，實現精準預防、診斷、及治療照護；而AIoT智慧應用領域涵蓋運動監測、金融安全、國土永續等和國人生活息息相關的議題；永續綠能與先進材料領域則針對如何解決綠能應用、穩定用電、節能減碳等社會議題提供解決方案，可說今年未來科技獎的技術展示，皆扣合回應社會需求、創造人民有感、提升國家幸福等願景。 吳主委致詞表示，「未來科技獎」充分展現我國豐沛科研能量，在彰顯技術突破性、產業應用性的同時，也能兼顧社會責任，提升人民福祉。而經歷過往的努力，「未來科技館」已經成為台灣科研領域最大的學術、產業、新創的媒合平台。今年是疫情後第一次大規模實體展，除了豐富的展區也有各領域指標專家參與的論壇活動，除了讓臺灣科研成果進一步行銷鏈結，也讓未來科技館成為趨勢科技的搖籃，更具代表意義。 主題體驗區及趨勢論壇滿滿知識火花 3天論壇及技術發表吸引近千人次參與 「未來科技館」展現國科會、中研院、教育部及衛福部在 AIoT 智慧應用、永續綠能及材料、電子光電、精準健康及運動科技等 8 大領域、共 200件科研技術和專案成果，並透過「精準健康」及「運動科技」2個主題體驗區，舉辦半導體、淨零轉型及運動科技3場趨勢論壇，與參觀民眾深度互動交流、分享及媒合啟發更多創意及合作。 展會期間除邀請產業公協會、業界大廠、和駐臺辦事處、學研單位到場，更積極安排大專院校、女高中生參觀，促進女性充分平等參與科學研究、貫澈科普教育，3天展期共吸引逾萬人次參與，進行55組團體觀展。 放眼2023持續深化科研能量 科技脈動瞬息萬變，未來科技館每年觀察全球趨勢匯集代表性國內外技術，讓參觀者一站式了解學研、產業、新創的研發動態，包括TIE Award及未來科技獎亦將跟進展現符合產業、社會需求的應用，敬請鎖定明年度2023未來科技館，並歡迎全球學研新創持續關注獎項報名資訊。 今年「未來科技館」除擴大實體展規模，也採 OMO 虛實整合方式併同線上展呈現，讓更多全球觀眾一覽臺灣科研成果。實體展會落幕，後續團隊追蹤媒合輔導工作將持續不間斷，搭配線上展覽素材資訊，未來1年仍將持續24小時提供觀看、媒合服務。

The COVID-19 pandemic has sealed off world economies, paralyzing global operations. Taiwan is the one of the few countries where life is proceeding as normalthe economyindustries continue to grow. This year, the Ministry of ScienceTechnology (MOST)the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) have teamed up for the first time to jointly organize the highly-regarded “2020 Taiwan Innotech Expo,” consolidating the resources of 10 major governmental agencies to showcase Taiwan’s scientifictechnological achievements. The MOST integrated curatorial resourcesinvited the Academia Sinica, Ministry of Education (MOE),Ministry of HealthWelfare (MOHW) to jointly host the “Future Tech” showcase, which is making its debut at the Taiwan Innotech Expo. This cross-ministry collaboration also resulted in the MOST, MOEA, Academia Sinica, MOE,MOHW creating a dialogue on “developing Taiwan’s precision health strategic industry.” This will not only help to familiarize Taiwan’s industriespublic with the key directions of future industrial development, but also bring a more forward-looking viewpoint to the 2020 Taiwan Innotech Expo. The cross-ministry summit meeting will take place on Sept. 24 at Taipei World Trade Center’s Exhibition Hall 1.   ScienceTechnology Minister Wu Tsung-tsong has actively promoted the three major facets of precision health since 2016. He announced upon taking office this year that he will promote cross-ministry cooperation to develop the “precision health strategic industry” within the next four years with the objective of raising the biotechnew drug output value from NT$600 billion to NT$1 trillion within five years’ time. Think tanks have forecasted that the global precision health market will be worth US$584.7 billion by 2025. Take the COVID-19 pandemic as an example. The development of preventative vaccines, the diagnosis of symptoms, the screening of antibodiesdrugs, the use of special equipment for smart disease prevention,the application of the Internet of things to provide remote medical treatment all fall under the scope of the precision health industry. The cross-ministry summit meeting of senior officials debuting during this year’s Future Tech will focus on industry aspects, clinical applications, talent cultivation,big data applications. ScienceTechnology Minister Wu Tsung-tsong, Economic Affairs Minister Wang Mei-hua (pending confirmation), Academia Sinica Vice President Liu Fu-tong, Political Deputy Education Minister Lio Mon-chi,Deputy HealthWelfare Minister Hsueh Jui-yuan will launch a dialogue on the current development directionachievements of Taiwan’s precision health industry. This meeting will explore the development of Taiwan’s precision health strategic industry through the crunching of National Health Insurance big data, the cultivation of cross-sector talents, clinical applications in precision medical treatment cases,the support of supply chains.   Taiwan has substantially raised its international profile since the start of this year due to its success in epidemic prevention. It hopes to use this expo to raise the visibility of Taiwan’s precision health strategic industrydrive exports of follow-up precision health productsservices to the world. The three-day expo is taking place from Sept. 24 (Thursday) to Sept. 26 (Saturday)focuses on “six core strategies.” On display are the researchdevelopment achievements in the areas of precision health ecosystem electronic & optoelectronics AI & IOT applicationsmart machinerynovel materials, with a focus on innovative applicationstechniques that can be transferredtraded within three yearsresearch technologies with the potential of industrial development within the next five to 10 years. Trend forumstechnology presentations, as well as matchmaking events such as guided tours, will provide a glimpse into the future directionprospects of Taiwan’s sciencetechnology industry. Taiwan’s research achievements continue to shine brightly in the world in this uncertain time. The “2020 Taiwan Innotech Expo – Future Tech” concluded a spectacular three-day run on Sept. 26. The scale of this year’s exhibition was the largest ever. It focused on the areas of precision health ecosystem electronic & optoelectronics AI & IOT application smart machinerynovel materialsexcellence research center, with over 100 innovative technologies on display. The cumulative number of visitors reached 53,000,7,000 matchmaking discussions took place. The event was completely unaffected by the current severe global pandemic situation. The Ministry of ScienceTechnology’s creative team also developed an online VR exhibition for those unable to travel to Taiwan to attend the expo. Highlight technologies attract industry participationsupport The expo used lively exhibition spaces to simulate various future settings, helping visitors to bridge knowledge gapsprecisely grasp the principlesapplications of various technologies. The biggest highlight was “precision health ecosystem,” which proposed the joint researchdevelopment results of the publicprivate sectors as effective solutions to the problems faced by modern humans. This theme covered precision medicine, biotech drugs, digital medicine,regenerative medicine. A total of 36 items were displayed, including numerous first-in-class drugs. Highlight technologies included “5D Smart City – SmartES Platform,” which was developed with 3D city models as a basecan be integrated with 4D time informationconnected to all types of sensors around the world. Meanwhile, “All-Optical Volumetric Physiology for Brain Connectomics: High-Speed Volumetric Imaging, Precise Optical Stimulation Spiking Neural Circuit Models” is the world’s first all-optical physiology capable of millisecond volumetric imaging to observe three-dimensional neural movementactivity in living animal brains. Another highlight was the “Self-Healable, Self-Powered, Stretchable, Transparent Electronic Skin (human-device interfaces) Nanogenerator.” All these technologies showed that Taiwan’s academicresearch institutions are at the forefront of technological development. Major industry players were invited to tour the exhibition. Professionally guided group tours allowed for real-time interaction with technical teams, increasing the chances of successful matchmaking. It is worth mentioning that numerous domesticforeign pharmaceuticals sent personnel to the expo on scouting trips. This shows that Taiwan’s biotechnology researchdevelopment results have commercialization potentialare being recognized by the industry. Empowering new technologies, holding summit meetings The Ministry of ScienceTechnology specially organized two forums, the “Cross-Ministry Summit Meeting – Developing Taiwan’s Precision Health Strategic Industry”the “2020 Trends Forum – Advanced Deployment of the New Future of the 6G Industry” to respond accordingly to future industrial developments. It invited officials from various ministriesagencies, as well as representatives from industry, academia,research, to brainstorm togetherforge a path for Taiwan’s next star industry. During the closing ceremony, ScienceTechnology Minister Wu Tsung-tsong personally presented the “Future Technology Award” to 71 winning teams,announced the 10 technical teams that were selected for the “People’s Choice Award” (see attachment for the complete list of winners). The Ministry of ScienceTechnology also recognized teams that actively invest in R&D for technology transfer, conferring the “Outstanding Technology Transfer Contribution Award” on 14 inventors of 10 award-winning technologies. The curtain has dropped on the 2020 Taiwan Innotech Expo, which means the Future Tech showcase has also come to an end. However, Future Tech will still be accessible online as a virtual expo over the next year as the number of viewers continues to rise,matchmaking services will continue to be offered. It is hoped that “Taiwan Innotech Expo – Future Tech” can serve as a global sciencetechnology showcase for Taiwan’s academicresearch institutions, as well as continue to enrich Taiwan’s research storehouse with diversified digital display content.
