Applications Now Open for the 2026 FutureTech Award

The prestigious “FutureTech Award,” which attracts nearly 500 technology submissions each year, is now officially open for online applications through May 17, 2026 (Sun). The award seeks outstanding innovations with strong technological breakthroughs and commercial application potential, while helping participating teams connect with industry partners, initiate business collaborations, and expand into international markets.

1. Eligibility and Application Qualifications

Eligible submissions must be project outcomes funded by at least one of the following organizations:

Innovative technologies with prototype development, practical implementation cases, and strong ambitions for real-world commercialization are especially encouraged to apply.
 

2. Evaluation Criteria

To strengthen the connection between scientific research and market demand, submissions will be evaluated based on:

●Industrial Applicability
●Future Application Potential
 

3. Resources for Award-Winning Teams

●Public Recognition: Winning teams will receive cash prizes and certificates and will be featured at the annual technology event, the “Future Tech Pavilion.”
●Business Matchmaking and Promotion: Teams will gain access to professional matchmaking platforms and exhibitions to connect with potential industry partners.
●International Opportunities: Selected teams may receive opportunities to participate in overseas exhibitions and strengthen international research collaborations.
●Venture and Commercialization Support: Support will be provided for connecting with academic venture programs, incubation resources, and industry-academia collaboration initiatives to accelerate market adoption.
 

4. Application Process and Schedule

●(1) Online Application for Technology Teams: Applications are open now through May 17, 2026 (Sun).
●(2) Institutional Verification and Official Submission: From May 18 (Mon) to May 21, 2026 (Thu), affiliated academic and research institutions will complete verification and official submission procedures.
