In order to select the key technology that meets the needs of the industry, the 5th year of the "FUTEX Award" starts solicitation today. The team submits the application until July 7 (recommendation letter sent by the affiliate until July 9), solicitation Application for project results subsidized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Academia Sinica, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Welfare. This year, applications for precision health, anti-epidemic technology, and related technologies that can drive the development of space technology are particularly encouraged.
The Future Science and Technology Award focuses on the two major indicators of "Science Breakthrough" and "Industrial Applicability". The follow-up will be reviewed through an inter-ministerial review mechanism. The list of winners is expected to be released in mid-August. The selected technology will be awarded the "FUTEX Award" and a bonus of NT$10,000.
