• Application of Cyber-Physical Sensing (CPS) 3D Stereo Modeling for Fruit Tree Growth Monitoring

The team applies the Cyber Physical Sensing (CPS) and 3D stereo modeling to fruit tree growth monitor. Through consecutive implementation of 3D modeling and spectral detection, the system can provide fruit tree growth process monitoring services. The key technology of the system includes lightweight UAV, heterogeneous sensor integration, obstacle avoidance, swarm flight control, autonomous navigation control, centimeter grade RTK precision positioning system and fruit tree 3D stereo modeling technology. The swarming UAVs can be equipped with high-resolution visible light cameras and multi-spectral snapshot sensors for 3D scanning and spectral information collection. Moreover, the 3D images, multi-spectral images and heterogeneous sensing image fusion technology are used to monitor the growth process of the fruit tree. These technologies not only established the 3D growth process of fruit trees and the identification of fruit trees but also used to identify the sweetness and moisture content of fruits for the fruit quality monitoring and classifying. The developing system and technologies has begun to possessed the effectiveness of industry.
