FUTEX 2026 to Showcase 173 Technologies Driving Industrial Transformation
2026 -09 -15
The Future Tech Pavilion (FUTEX) at the 2026 Taiwan Innotech Expo will take place from September 17 to 19 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1.
Jointly organized by the National Science and Technology Council, Academia Sinica, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Ministry of Sports, this year’s event is themed “Turning Taiwan’s Research into a Force for Industrial Transformation.”
FUTEX 2026 will present 173 research achievements across seven application fields, featuring 50 academic, research, medical, and corporate organizations. The exhibition highlights three key areas: AI-powered everyday applications, critical industrial technologies, and national research capabilities.
AI Experiences for Everyday Life
Visitors can explore interactive applications in health, sports, fashion, and agriculture. Highlights include an AI health mirror that assesses gait and fall risk without wearable sensors, a multimodal AI system that retrieves key moments from sports broadcasts through voice commands, a generative AI virtual fitting system, and an AI-powered pig lean-meat assessment system.
Award-Winning Technologies Seek Industry Partners
FUTEX will showcase 84 Future Tech Award winners selected from 667 entries. Featured technologies include advanced cooling solutions for AI chips, heterogeneous semiconductor integration, handheld sub-terahertz inspection, quantum sensing, and AI-assisted medical diagnosis.
Healthcare highlights include the PanMETAI platform for early pancreatic cancer detection and the DeepBT A+ system for brain tumor MRI analysis and automated report generation.
Research Supporting National Resilience
The exhibition will also feature FORMOSAT-8 satellite technologies, AI-powered disaster monitoring and warning systems, multi-sensor target tracking, and synchrotron applications in semiconductors, energy materials, and precision medicine.
Connecting Research with Industry
FUTEX offers advance matchmaking services to help companies and investors identify relevant technologies and meet research teams for one-on-one discussions. During the three-day event, 27 technologies will be presented in sessions covering AI and semiconductors, biotechnology and medical devices, advanced materials and net-zero solutions, and multimodal large language models.
FUTEX 2026 welcomes companies, investors, researchers, technology professionals, and the public to discover Taiwan’s latest innovations and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
